Your gift goes to Microforest Collective's work across every forest, and repeats each month until you stop it, which you can do any time from the link in your receipt.

Every microforest starts with a local leader or a school with an idea. Your gift helps them see it through, with the guide, the forest design, the approvals, the fundraising help and someone to call when they're stuck.

From a dustbowl to a forest taller than the people who planted it

In 2020, Edwina Robinson asked her Downer neighbours to help turn a bare Canberra park into a forest. Together they planted 1,800 native plants. Six years on, it shades the park, birds nest in it, and neighbours meet there.

Seven forests later, schools and communities across Australia want to do the same. Your gift helps each of them get from a first idea to planting day.

Behind every forest

  • A guide from idea to planting day

Wayfinder walks every local leader and school through approvals, design, fundraising and planting, one step at a time.

  • Expert help when it counts

We design each forest with native species matched to its site, and help teams through council and school approvals.

  • The next school, the next town

Your gift helps us say yes to new schools and communities across Australia, with South Australia and Queensland next.

Our CEO and board volunteer their time, so your gift goes into the work of growing forests.
