We're turning a vacant block in Black Hill, Ballarat into a microforest: a dense native forest beside the local post office, within walking distance of three schools.

Students from Black Hill Primary School drew up our Microforest Master Plan and presented it to City of Ballarat staff at Ballarat Town Hall. The City of Ballarat backed the project with a Community Impact Grant, and Central Highlands Water came on board too.

Once it's planted, the forest will cool the street, bring back birds and insects, and give local kids a living classroom on their doorstep.

Help us get it in the ground by giving today.
